How we handle your information

Who we are

Hano is operated by With Hano, LLC, based in Los Angeles. For anything in this notice, email us at hello@withhano.com.

What we collect

We only collect what you choose to give us through the forms on this site:

• Join the waitlist: your email (required), and optionally your location, what you're looking to do, a short note, and whether you'd like to be considered for beta access.
• Contact us: your name, email, and message.
• Partner inquiries: your name, company, email, website, and message.

We also use PostHog analytics on this site to understand page views, clicks, sessions, session recordings, rage clicks, dead clicks, client-side errors, browser/device context, referral source, and campaign parameters. We do not intentionally send form field values, message bodies, or email addresses to PostHog.

Why we collect it

We use your information to respond to you — to email you when Hano opens and tailor your invitation (waitlist), to reply to your inquiry (contact and partner forms), and to understand how people move through the site so we can improve the experience. Our legal basis is your consent for form submissions and our legitimate interest in running and improving the site.

Where your information goes

Waitlist signups are stored in our database, hosted by Supabase. When you join the waitlist we also send a brief email notification to our team through FormSubmit, an email-forwarding service; contact and partner inquiries are delivered to our team the same way. Product analytics are processed by PostHog. Supabase, FormSubmit, and PostHog process your data on our behalf. We don't sell your data or share it for advertising.

Our record of your consent

When you join the waitlist, we record the time you signed up, the page you submitted from, the version of this notice in effect (version 2026-06-27), and your IP address and browser type. We keep this only to demonstrate that you consented and to protect the form from abuse.

How long we keep it

We keep waitlist entries until Hano launches (and for a reasonable period after), or until you ask us to remove you. We keep contact and partner inquiries for as long as needed to handle them.

Accessing or deleting your information

Email hello@withhano.com to see, correct, or delete the information we hold about you, or to withdraw your consent at any time. We'll delete your entry from our database and remove you from the list. Note that messages already delivered to our inbox by email may persist there and in FormSubmit's systems; we'll remove those on request where we can.

Your rights

You can withdraw consent or ask us to delete your data at any time — it's as easy as sending an email. If you're in the EU or UK, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.

Changes to this notice

This is a pre-launch notice and will be expanded into a full privacy policy before Hano opens. If we make material changes, we'll update the version number below.
